I seldom buy lockets, but this one grabbed my attention. The flat profile, rather than the usual domed ones, the palladium detailing, and the top opening hinge all make this a little different from the usual, and I love it! 
It is a good weight, and has been nicely made in yellow gold, with the palladium detail to the bale and the front, typical of 1930s/1940s jewellery. The internal photo apertures are each lined with yellow satin, and have the original frames intact. 
Stamped and tested as 9ct gold and palladium.

Very good vintage condition with all.moving parts in good order. There is some patina and a couple of very minor dents to the back as shown in the photos.
